So who is more excited? The teachers who were exchanging texts at 6.30am this moring or the kids?

I've never seen 6 inches of snow in Manchester before.

Our son's isn't but luckily we aren't that far away from it in case they close early as it's still snowing in Sheffield. Thankfully I can work from home so can pick him up when needed.

MMJ ALL Stockport schools are closed tomorrow - an official announcemnt from the Directoe of Education.

Got the text while we were sledging {grin]- oh and can it please stop snowing now as it has been pretty solid since 9pm last night and we have 16cm and Lucycat needs to go out for a wee but her tummy drags in the snow and she doesn't like it
