Hello, My ds who is 17 wants to do AS Russian. I was wondering if anyone knows a place in Liverpool that he could do it at? If it could be near the city centre it would be better.

I am assuming it is not available at his school. There appear to be Russian classes in Liverpool but none seemed to say they were AS. Does he actually need Russian? A lot of people who study Russian at University do it ab initio. If this does not appeal, would it be best to move schools to get proper tuition? It would depend on how vital Russian is to him, I guess.

I did GCSE Russian alongside French and German A-levels when I was in 6th form (a good while ago!)

I did a degree in Modern Foreign languages(German/Russian/Czech)

I agree with the above, why does he specifically want to do Russian?
Is it to do an MFL degree? Most unis offering Russian will offer it as beginners or some knowledge or good/working knowledge. There will be no real difference in the final level achieved.
Would evening classes be an option?

Beautiful language though, highly recommended.
