Ds just started yr 7. He has learn smart lessons twice a week. He does have special needs. Is it for children with special needs?

Could it be a general study skills thing? Confused

Our various schools have had things known as Study Skills lessons or LearnToLearn lessons for all -- could it be that?

One school also sets SMART targets (stands for specific/measurable/achievable/relevant/timed, so things like 'write three French sentences about your house by Tuesday' or 'swim ten lengths three days this week').

Critical thinking skills? In your place, I would phone the school and ask. If you do, let us know what they say! :)
