I have seen the data interested in opinions re: is it a school that engages their pupils , tries their best for them, helps reach potential , supportive community etc I am out of county so don?t know anyone with girls there ? Dsis who is Social Worker has placed girls there and sad it was really supportive. DD is quiet and likes to work hard but also loves having fun , drama, dancing etc I know it is going for Academy status but it seems all within that area of Sussex are at the minute! Not sure how this would change things.

I know the mum of a girl who was there, her daughter did amazingly well, 2As & 2A*s at A level, including History. She comes from a supportive background but zero privilege and has done better than anyone I know (in arts subjects) at v expensive & v selective London schools. She is at Kings London now, don't want to say anymore in case I out them, but for the right child a fantastic school.

PM me if you would like more.

I went there (left school 10 yrs ago!) it was awful. My niece is there doing well though, seems 10 years is enough to make improvements.

I have been travelling on the train for 9 years with the girls Titsalina and I can tell you the one thing that has never changed is the compulsion to roll ones waistband up so skirt is as short as poss!
