I havent visited yet, but this school is on my (very) shortlist for DS starting in Yr 7 and DD Yr 2 - day pupils.
DS has organisational & social difficulties which having spoken in depth about I'm fairly sure they can handle, apart from that I want an all round education, not hugely academic, but lots of opportunities for sport, art, extra curricular activities.
Anyone have any knowledge of the School? Many thanks.

Hello - Interested to know if you went for it as strongly considering it for my DD who has dyslexia if we move to the area next year.

All of a friends DC are there and enormously happy, eldest was incredibly miserable at previous school and first week at Wycliffe was second best week of the DC's life ( first being two days at legoland and two at Longleat). All are doing very well academically and enjoy all the sports.

Hello - thought I'd add an update to this as I ended up not going for Wycliffe (heard good things about it for boys, not so much for girls) as we ended up going for Westonbirt. On paper, Wycliffe seemed the obvious choice as it has the Specialist SEN building etc - but wasn't so impressed in "real life". We opted for our second choice - Westonbirt, which has been amazing for my daughter's confidence and we made the decision to carry on from the Prep (lovely - cozy and family like) to the Senior school and she is thriving. Her reading has come on amazingly and she is really enjoying school life and doing well across all her subjects - never thought I'd see the day!!

looking at Monmouth Haberdashers and Wycliffe College (Gloucestershire) - would be really grateful if any of you out there have any info on either. Am running out of time :(.

Brendon School is possibly a better choice for SEN than WC.
