Bullying in year 8

I posted about this before and got some excellent advice from you lovely MNers. DD is in year 8 and has had trouble from this girl before. The bullying is very subtle and devious. The bully constantly lies about DD, makes snide and bitchy remarks about and to her and tells other girls to not talk to her making DD feel rather isolated.

When it first started I was advised to contact the school so I did and they were brilliant about it. The bully was warned that if it continued that sanctions would be imposed.

Everything went quiet, but DD discovered today that this girl is still being really nasty about her and telling lies. Would it look like I was "running to the teacher" if I reported it again or should I try and put an end to it once and for all?

Righto I will. I have already drafted an email. I will send it pronto.

I did state that I knew girls of that age behave like this from time to time but with this girl and DD it is constant and I thought she was going too far.

It's never acceptable. Never.
