which might have a space still for yr 7 boy this September. A friend is trying to find a private school place for her son. He's a lovely boy, very gentle and well behaved with mild learning difficulties which mesan several schools she'd hoped to consider won't have him.

If anyone can recommend a school that might have places within a 10 mile radius of the area, I'd be really glad to pass the details on to her.

Thanks.

Don't know if they'd still have places, but the Hall in Wimbledon is a lovely small school and I know two gentle/ quiet not academic boys who are very happy there.

Thanks everyone. I've passed those details on. St James looks good! Anyone know anything about it?

Also, anyone know much about The Hall? They have connections with the school but were put off by some bad press about bullying not being dealt with for a year. It would be good to hear some opinions from parents of children there, as in many ways it looks great.

Oh FGS Anna, would you just quit with the advertising? You are boring the pants off me.

Anna I have looked at your website. There are spelling mistakes and serious grammatical errors in the introduction. Why on earth would anyone entrust the selection of their child's school to a company that lacks a basic command of English. And no, I won't be sending you any money!

So what do you suggest then, Anna? Oh, sorry, she's got to pay you, hasn't she. Both schools would fit the OP's requirements. Let's face it, it's not as if there's a wealth of year 7 places available at this point.

Oh I am so glad you got things sorted. Hope he will be happy there - it does sound as though it has all the necessary elements to be a great new school.
