I've been looking at thesefor both DSs as they were recommended on a thread here. They look great and DS2 is interested in one or two options. DS1 is 15 and desperate to find out about careers where he can use his talent for Maths
Does anyone know of something similar but Chemistry or Maths based?

DD2 did Chemistry camp at Sussex university at the end of year 10 www.salters.co.uk/camps/apply.htm For Maths normally universities run lectures/courses for secondary school children - do you have any nearby? DD2 went to some Saturday lectures run by Cambridge University.

Thank you.
IShallWearMidnight The Villiers Park one seems to be for post 16 but I'll bookmark it as it looks exactly what I've been looking for.
webwiz the salters looks promising.
We live in North Lincs so the nearest universities would be York/Sheffield or Hull.

inthesticks does he do the UKMT maths challenges? They offer camps to children who score very highly on them from yr10 onward.

I did get some of the UKMT papers for him to have a go at. Tried to get his maths teacher involved but without success.

That's a shame inthesticks. UKMT challenges seem like quite a fun and stretching thing for more able mathematicians, but not if the school won't enter them.

He's probably not quite old enough yet, but headstart do some maths courses and UNIQ do maths & chemistry. They are both aimed at year 12s.

snorkie, thank you for these. He's in year 10 at the moment but I have bookmarked them for later.
He anticipates doing Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and maybe Physics at A level, mainly because those are the things he enjoys and is best at. He doesn't know what he wants to do career wise and these courses both look useful.
