Leave the last line off, the ball will be in his court.

Personally,I would E-mail him, and keep it light and witty for the few months he is away.

If I saw that, no disrespect, but I would run a mile.

Always keep them guessing.

He is only going for a few months not a few years.

If you can maintain the essence of your f/ship by e-mail, well then you have a very good starting block, when he gets back.

I probably wouldn't have the bottle to send it - I'd wait 'til September and hope things developed when he got back. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the email - I just wonder how you'll feel if you don't get the response you'd like: it will undoubtedly alter your freindship if he has no idea you feel like this...and doesn't feel the same way.

On the other hand - you've nailed your colours to the mast and maybe he's just been waiting for a signal from you. How likely is it he feels similarly towards you? Do you get that good vibe back, any kind of frisson?

Oh what am I even posting for - I have no buggering idea, I've been with the same bloke for 15 years, married for 8. Can't even remember what it's like to fancy someone

Good luck and I hope it all works out wonderfully, whatever you decide!

If I were you I'd wait till hes back from Oz and see if you feel the same way then. Does he flirt a lot with you? If you still feel the same way when you see him next then go for it. Then there will be no regrets and you can take it from there, just keep on e mailing him flirty notes and when he comes back you can ascertain if he feels the same way.

Theres no point in spoiling your friendship unless your sure in my opinion (boring answer I know)

Be interested to know what happens, keep us posted!!!! (PS being nosy but I do presume that your single!!)

you could burn your bridges with that. if that's a risk you're willing to take then do it. if you don't want to risk your friendship then don't send it.

If you really want to scare him off you could send him the lyrics to this Carole King song (it's my Mum and Dad's 'song' btw

"It Might As Well Rain Until September"

What shall I write?
What can I say?
How can I tell you how much I miss you?

The weather here has been as nice as it can be
Although it doesn't really matter much to me
For all the fun I'll have while you're so far away
It might as well rain until September

I don't need sunny skies for things I like to do
'Cause I stay home the whole day long and think of you
As far as I'm concerned each day's a rainy day
So It might as well rain until September

My friends look forward to their picnics on the beach
Yes everybody loves the summertime
But you know darling while your arms are out of reach
The summer isn't any friend of mine

It doesn't matter whether skies are grey or blue
It's raining in my heart 'cause I can't be with you
I'm only living for the day you're home to stay
So It might as well rain until September
September, September, oh
It might as well rain until September

If he's a true friend and you have the wrong end of the stick, your frienship will survive it.

But really it is up to you, dont let me talk you into anything [smile}

Behaving now
