Snapped at DH (several times) this morning for things that totally weren't his fault (too tired to function - me forgetting things, getting annoyed with myself and taking it out on him ).

No major deal, he'll be fine, but feeling bad - any suggestions on a small but nice gesture to say sorry?

No sex suggestions please as am too damn knackered to carry it out (DCs playing tag team through the night over the last couple of weeks). Might go to bed at 8 tonight and try that tomorrow though

Could you rent a film and cook a nice meal?

Maybe run him a bath for when he gets in?

See - meant to post this in chat (as not exactly a serious relationship issue), but I guess there are worse places it could have ended up - not doing very well today.

Thanks tits - he doesn't really like baths or I would. Might find something nice to eat but if the children are the way they have been recently we won't get to eat it until 9 or 10... then too knackered to sit through a film.

Really should be working, just can't concentrate...

Has he got a favourite choc bar/food/wine that you don't routinely buy?

Text him saying 'sorry about this morning'? Not very original but it could be a start.

Trillian, I did that straight away (well, straight after answering the mobile with 'what' (he was ringing to tell me I didn't need to drive down to nursery with formula I had forgotten to put in the bag as he had gone to the shop and got some)) .

Might get some extra nice cookies. I would bake them, but would probably burn them today...
