Yep sounds like me and DH. We seem to even each other out. Saying that he has become more spontaneous whilst I have become more serious (not much mind you!)

Anyway, sounds like me and my DH too! We are both grateful for eachother although if you are highly strung as well as impulsive and spontaneous (like me) then it can make life very colourful! But it works really well for us really

We are so different though.

I have known him for a few years, it's been a very casual relationship (meeting once or twice a year, when we've both been single). But he came down to stay last night, and it felt a bit different. He's made some changes in his life that would make him more available iyswim, and now I'm wondering.

I never in a million years thought I would end up with the sort of man my dh is. We went out for five months before he started to speak to me (he was very shy) and it was nine months before I was kissed by him.
We are still very different in just about everything - political views, the food we eat, things we enjoy doing etc but I could not imagine being with anyone else.
