When I get married I won't be a virgin, it doesn't bother me, but I wish I had waited longer for someone more important than I did, even if it hadn't have been the man I married.

Funny how it's kind of a pressure now to get rid of your virginity and be sexually active

You might be in for a very disapointing night if you are

This is not an excuse to throw your body away on someone you don't love.

yes, I was. So was my dh, or so I thought at the time. Turns out he'd popped his while we were engaged with his ex. So much for "saving ourselves".

I think the anti climax would be terrible if you waited until the wedding night for the first time, it would be bound to go horribly wrong. Talk about performance anxiety.

We didn't even shag at all on our wedding day as we were too knackered.

Um, no.

I don't think it's important at all, but I don't believe in concepts like 'the right man' or 'soulmates' or 'the one'.

I never felt any pressure to lose it.

I just liked sex and having it.

howdoesshedoit · 03/06/2008 13:49

Well, my husband was my first but we did it a couple of weeks before the wedding. I wish I had waited until the wedding night, though

Also, for me, a big dick is important.

I'd hate to wait for someone and then have him be shite in bed.

Our sex life has definitely improved over the years, by the way

Hey-ell no!! I was 35 when I got married.

Ex-pat - my ex was a big dick. Not his penis, just the rest of him

Report
ShowOfHands · 03/06/2008 13:52

No but there has only ever been dh. We were together for 6 years before we married.

Cadbury, that's disgusting behaviour.

Well, as my wise grandmother said, 'You wouldn't buy a pair of shoes without trying them on in the shop first to see if they fit.'

Amen to that!
