nutcracker · 18/07/2007 11:14

Hmm from a women then no, I wouldn't think it odd, but maybe a little bit from a bloke.

She needs more than that to go on though.

From him to a woman? Depends on the rest of the email! I mean "I will send the results of the latest juducial summary to you posthaste. Nite nite xxx" isn't too worrying...

JeremyVile · 18/07/2007 11:16

Well, tell your 'friend' its not on.

Kissy kissy stuff is wrong, but did she aklready suspect him anyway?

Report
Lizzylou · 18/07/2007 11:18

No, not on imo.

If Dh was getting emails like this, would be annoyed tbh (tho he too is an IT geek, so not much chance )

"nite nite xx"

It is a little "I wuv you fwuffy bunny" but not indicative in itself of anything other that being a little wet imo.

Report
TigerFeet · 18/07/2007 11:18

nite nite xxx

would be more concerned that dh was corresponding with someone who signed off emails in this way than any reasons behind it all

lots of women sign their emails off like that though, don't they (despairs)

has she asked him about it? perhaps he is bored and just pissing about mailing her to while away time

key thing is how he reacts when she confronts him (if she does)

Report
coddy · 18/07/2007 11:23

wellt he other odd hing is that he gives her lifts into works someties

Yes odd

And she needs to grow up - 'nite, nite'??

Does she use txt spk and pepper her emails with hun? If so, nuff said.

I suspect it's really just the email equivilent of using little hearts instead of dots for "i"s

I once got into a huge muddle with this.

All I can say is that I learnt a valuable lesson not to snoop.

i think it's just wrong hacking into emails, having had it done to myself, i wouldnt dream of doing it or checking a phone

having said that i put x's at teh end of messages to mean and women, tho i do spell properly

unless there was something else to create suspicion i wouldnt think anything of it

my best mate is male and he always texts me saying night with a x at the end
