Ace, that's just what we did, but we grabbed a couple of blokes from the queue for the civil partnerships to be our witnesses instead of taking two friends. 3 month old DD was our bridesmaid, and it was just the best day, I wouldn't have changed a thing!
Good for you, and huge congratulations!!

thanks littlemonkeys..glad to hear of your day, sounds a delight!
dp wanted two tramps..so our compromise 2 pals unknown to any family..

congrats! hope you have a great day.

we did the legal bit with 2 mates in the morning. dressed in jeans and looking really quite rubbish - now i look at the photos LOL.

but we had a big party on the beach with friends and family in the afternoon and exchanged vows we'd written ourselves.

happiest day of my life.......

;-)

reasons for keeping schtumm:
parents x2 relatives x? hell on earth; everyone lives far apart, small apartment dont want it all...
not about marriage of families etc we have been together years..
for legal stuff and dr creamcheese just hates this sort of stuff, its his day too and i dont care either way just want it for legals to be done, etc..
if i tell any other than who needs to know they will be upset at not being included so..mums the word..
