Is it ignorent for someone to go and open a big bag of dorito's whilst you're in the middle of cooking up their dinner?

its a little ignorant yes

but totally ignorant if said person was an adult and did it front of a child

No not at all

It is a bit weird but I wouldn't say it was ignorant per se

Do you never have a bag of crisps before supper?

Is he just opening them or eating too?

Is it an adult?
If so then as long as he eats said dinner, I'd be ok with it
my dh could eat a packet of doritos and his dinner no probs!

Tomorrow give the kids dinner early before he gets in and then lay the table for him and just hand him a plate with a pack of Doritos on it!

DP does this sometimes, but, he actually offers some to the DC's which is actually even more infuriating!!!!

NO i actually don't think its ignorant.

its highly disrespectful of my time, energy and love which i have put into a family meal.

which would be poured over his fucking head if he behaved so disgracefully.

then the rest of the meal would go up the wall.

and i would scream " you fucking cook it then you god damned COCK"

which would probably be unplesent for the whole family.

however this would ensure the message.

Well unless you're a really awful cook, it's pretty impolite. And to do that in front of the kids is moronic, selfish and totally disrespectful.

I wouldn't mind the crisps. I would mind him not sharing.
