Is anyone else cursed with a greedy DH? I'm sick to death of his eating habits, we were supposed to be trying to eat healthier and he just takes the mick .

If you go to Mcdonalds what does your DH usually get? mine gets a king size big mac meal PLUS 2 cheeseburgers, one time he ordered a king size bacon double cheese burger meal PLUS 2 extra bacon double cheese burgers.

We went to KFC yesterday and he got one of those zinger tower meals PLUS 2 boxes of chicken strips and then bought a bag of popcorn to eat straight afterwards.

On new years eve we went out on a "pub crawl" and after the first pub he was nattering to go and get a burger from a takeaway place so at 9pm when everyone else are at their height of celebrations outside we're stuck looking out of the window of a takeaway shop. and Then he wanted ANOTHER takeaway at 12pm. (which he got, a full pizza to himself).

So any of you have greedy DH's?

My DP used to be greedy but he didn't eat as much as your DP (soz!).

Is your DP overweight? I think someone commented on my DP utting weight on and since then hes slimmed right down and lost over a stone.

I would be more concerned about the quality of the food he is eating! Does he have a manual job or is he very active?

he is overweight but very tall so doesn't look that bad (18 stone though). The kfc was a treat for the kids as it was the only "food place" near the cinema and we'd had no dinner lol

He's not very active either, a little alergic to walking, drives everywhere, long lie in's whenever possible etc.

@ kfc as a treat for the kids!

I think you need to re-think your whole eating philosophy tbh!

I'm not a fan myself (they've got an appalling animal cruelty record) but a KFC dinner once in a while isn't going to do any harm, CountessDracula. It's not like feeding your kids cyanide in a bun or whatever. And most kids do view fast food as a treat - doesn't mean the world is going to hell in a handbasket.

crunchies, yes, your husband does sound like a greedy bastard. I'd find that level of gluttony quite repellent, to be honest.

Crunchies, do you eat healthyly (sp?) at home? I think your DP needs a wake up call. When's Dr Gillian back on, I watched that and started eating much healthier, sit him in front of that with a take away and see if he carries on eating it.

My DP used to eat allsorts of crap and his farts were vile put me right off him!
