POF or match.com

I know that OD as a single parent is my best option and has been successful for so many, but I can't decide which.

I like POF much better and the men on my a searches are better but it feels less private and as divorce proceedings are only just starting I don't want to piss him off.

Match.com is more private and tends to have men who are less likely to mess me around, but the problem with it is you give so much information and outline so much baggage that I'm worried men will be put off.

Anyone help with my dilema?

I've not used Match but did go on POF. I never attached a photo and had plenty of contact. I just stated in my profile that I would send one when I communicated. It meant I had fewer contacts but better quality ones (for the most part) as they had to read the profile and not just gawp at the pic.

When you upload your photo you have an option to mark it as private so it won't show on your profile.

Ooh does it mark it as private so only registered users can see them?

Maybe don't put so much information about yourself on there.

Only the person you send the photo to can see the photo if you mark it as private. No-one else can see it at all.

breaking, there's somewhere else (account settings or some such I think) where you can tick a box to make your details (including pic) 'only visible to members' - doesn't cut it down much, but means that idle browsers won't come across your pic and identify you!
