Because dh is depressed and anxious and needs me to hold his hand all the time and I know that I am neglecting ds, which dh can't see because depression is such a fucking selfish illness that eats who you really are away. And I am having to sew my lips shut not to scream out loud with feeling overcrowded and empathied out during the day. So I'm up eating the contents of the fridge and watching Borgen and drinking and doing anything I can think of to feel better. Guess I don't have the depression excuse for being selfish.

Dh is in the shower after work and I have insomnia. so planning to bore him with trivial chat after he's come to bed. I'm considerate like that Grin

Also miserable and stressed. Really tired but feel like I spend all my time being tired at the moment.

I'm on the phone to my sister and we are watching a film together (we're watching the same film in our respective homes if that makes sense).

Because I just got home, I now am eating a coconut kitkat chunky, with a cup of tea, having a shower, and am about to get a night bus to a hospital

cafecito · 27/01/2013 01:45

I cannot taste any coconut in it - bit disappointing really!

Coconut Kitkat Chunky?? What marvels occur while you're boycotting a company.

I really want a Bounty now.

Report
cafecito · 27/01/2013 02:07

it was very disappointing. I feel kitkat remorse. [hangs head in shame]

ever tried a bounty bar, frozen? or dark choc bounty - SO good

joanofarchitrave · 27/01/2013 02:10

Ooh frozen bounty. Hmm. Would I let it defrost a bit or just break my teeth on it...

Lots of sympathy to the stressed, distressed and depressed.

While I'm usually all of the above, Mumsnet has just explained my nocturnal habit! I've got delayed sleep phase disorder! All my life, I never knew ...

So, uh, I'm up because it's not my sleep time yet :)

Just haven't bothered going to bed. Was watching Buffy on Lovefilm and then chatting to DH. He is depressed as well about work and life choices. Am trying to be the voice of sympathy and reason but not easy!

I just watched 2 films with exp, we're friends. He's gone home now. (he would have stayed had I let him but it's two plus years gone, it had been 13 years). As much as I was broken hearted at the time. I don't really want him back. Too late mate :(

Still feel sad and lonely. But won't do heartbreak ever again.

Anyway, when I've finished my cig and beer. I'm off to bed. :)
