Tea and toast every morning; washes and valets my car; cooks luscious food; makes me g'n't's every night; rings me up on his way home from work every night to chat; makes me laugh!

Before iPods, he used to make me compilation tapes and set them up in my car ready to play with romantic songs on.

Brought me dippy egg and toast and a cup of tea to wake me up from my lay in this morning.

The other day when I came back from my first run he had a bath waiting with a big cold glass of juice :)

He does lots of other little things, definitely a good egg

DP waited out in the snow for me after an evening class just to walk me home (back to my home, in the opposite direction to his). Smile

Wrote "I love you" in the sand the first time he ever told me, leaves me little notes in my handbag or coat pocket to find when i get to work, runs me bubble baths with candles for some 'me time', tells
me he loves me and how beautiful he think I am all the time, offers me his coat when we're out and I'm cold. He gets more romantic every day Grin

Wrote 'I love you' in the ice on my car windscreen.
Has kept me stocked up with logs all winter because he's worried I'll be cold.
Builds a fire for me every time he comes round.
Notices when things are about to run out and replaces them - silly things like boxes of matches, dog food - but stuff like that is a big help when you work full time.
Does my ironing even though we don't live together.
Tells me he loves me several times a day.
Tells me I'm beautiful (I'm not).
Is kind to my kids and pets.
Buys me little things like DVDs of shows I've mentioned that I like, just because.

He's lovely...

did the 4am feed of our newborn so that I could get a full nights sleep (this could be classed as self serving rather than a romantic gesture as I turn into a screaming harpy on acid with prologued fatigue, but I'm going with romantic!)

Let him have a lie in this morning - and picked up a full night feeding of DD2 on christmas eve as he'd been working stupid hours as well as dealing with a new born and a 3yr old (and their lunatic mother....)
