Coming out or rather came out ... update!

I want to thank everyone who was so supportive a few months ago when I was struggling with coming out. I've now told all those close to me and everyone has been wonderful. I've only had one "friend" question me on it saying was it because I've had such a bad time with men.

I'm seeing someone and she's great! It's only been about a month but so far so good.

So thanks again for the support and help, it was just what I needed.

DD's dad (my ex-dp from 5 years ago) was a bit shocked but I can understand that. Of course he is still coming to terms with it and has lots of questions but I trust he knows I am careful around dd with my new gf just like I would be if I was seeing a man.

And I'm sorry I missed your thread last time - but I know loads of lesbian mothers and they are all completely lovely (and total babes too)

Report
PinotGirl · 24/08/2005 13:39

Unfortunately I still don't know any other lesbian mothers but I'm hoping now I'm out, I will meet more as I can more freely be me!

Obviously, MI, I'm a total babe, too

You're all so lovely, thanks! Feel a huge weight has been lifted and I can start enjoying life finally rather than either hiding or denying who I am, it's brilliant!

I'm going to my girlfriend's for dinner tonight (dd with her dad today) and it's just so nice to have that with someone ... her especially as she is great!!

So glad you are finally happy Pinot.

I posted on the original thread and was maybe somewhat questioning, but it's great that everything has turned out well.

We like a happy ending

Haven't had a chance to get on here until tonight! Had a lovely night with my new girl and it's great - we're both happy taking things slowly and she's also cool with me just coming out. She's been out for about 9 years now.

Sooo, thank you again for all your support and help!

Hester and dot1 ... we are very definitely all babes
