Oh I love that piece, it reeks of longing, and it's a nice one to put on for the kids to go to sleep to. I'll listen to the Radio Four show now - just finished listening to Matthew Parris doing Parting Shots (about the valedictorian dispatches from various ambassadors, which were fairly, honest, in tone .

I was gutted intrigued when they put De Aranjuez in in Brassed Off - I wanted it to be all mine.

Wasn't it great? I put a link to that on the miscarriage board (well not the radio prog but the music) because I didn't know it was written after his wife's miscarriage. It's such a lovely piece so I shall play it on the anniversary of my DS's due date from now on
