Yes, it is quite dull. I thought Germaine Greer was interesting, but that's because she was treating it more as a general discussion programme.

You're right. It did seem like it was more suited to a discussion but VC seemed to try to host more in the style of the News Quiz.

I have to confess I don't really like her as a presenter but that said, it was muddled and I found David Mitchell's efforts to come to her aid embarrassing.
