Did anyone hear this last week? Libby Purves introduces her son's writings that she found after his death.
It's so beautiful, he was clearly such a talented natural writer and she must be so very very proud.

Sorry, it was in the Afternoon Drama slot on the 6th March - it's still on listen again.

I heard it Badger. It was so lovely. Not a dry eye in this house.Wasn't he a talented boy.Poor parents.Hope that publishing his stuff was cathartic for Libby. There can be no grief so profound as losing a child.

I heard this too, his writing was rather beautiful and her narration was so measured and calm. I also cried at various points.
It was so poignant too remembering the small boy she wrote about in "One Summers Grace" when the family sailed around Britain and the baby she wrote about in my favourite parenting book when DS1 was small.
An absolutely beautiful programme!
