How to pay?!!

Hi,

Our first baby is due in November. We've already decided on which buggy we want but now have the task of funding it!!!

I was just wondering how other people paid for theirs? All lot of people (without kids) have said the grandparents should be paying, but I feel awful asking them for money!

Any advice on the best way to buy without getting in too much debt?!! I can't believe how much there is to buy for one small baby!!!

Thanks!

My Grandmother bought mine. Are you having a baby shower? if you are then ask for donations towards the pushchair instead of presents. if your not then you should, its a great way of getting what you need without having to buy it all (and you can register)

some places will let you put a deposit down and then make payments towards it.

How about asking relatives if the would like to contribute by putting a little towards the costs. You may be surprised about how little you may need for a baby as Ive seen threads on here about how much baby stuff was left unused. Dont forget freecycle either plus you can have a brand new cot for £25 from ikea.

buy as much as you can second hand. I buy and sell second hand pushchairs and there are some real bargains to be had out there.
