Originally I was considering buying the Quinny Buzz, I then moved on to the Icandy Apple but my DH has since spotted the Maxi Cosi Mura 3 on the internet. I love everything I've read about it and the reviews seem good however we can't find a stockist locally to give it a test drive.

Do we take the chance and buy on line??Scary...any experinces of the pram would be great

I'm just about to buy one on line. Do you know if it's compatible with a buggy board?

I have a Mura 4 and I love it. Got it really cheap from Kiddicare too (£220 for pram, hard carrycot & footmuff) because it was previous year's colours and know someone else who got hers elsewhere reduced for same reason. I've only used it with the carrycot so far but it's a really smooth ride, good brakes and manoeuvres really well for a big pram. Great at going up/down curbs too. Downside is size folded and weight - it's not one for putting in and out of the car (I have a Streety for that, tho I don't like it because the Mura is so much nicer to push). Having said that the wheels come off and go back on really easily and you can the frame has a smaller fold (though it doesn't lock into this position). Also I read the newer model is lighter and folds smaller.

It is very nice to push - it is compatible with a buggy board - but it is a "Hummer"!

Not easy to fold small - but if you're mostly walking and not putting in and out the car so often it might be right for you. Or if you have a large car boot it might be fine anyway (we were using a people carrier so no boot space and it was even hard to fit it in the front passenger seat without completely dismantling it (seat and wheels off!).

The hood on some of the older models is not so "substantial" I noticed the hood got bigger/better on newer models (useful for keeping the sun out - or making it darker for a baby trying to sleep).

Where do you live, Bebo?
