Hi,

I have just purchased a Mountain Buggy Urban for my first baby (due in July) and am confused about the accessories I need to buy. Should I get a fleece/cotton liner or do I need a snuggle bag or footmuff or in fact do I need both? Can someone please help a baffled pregnant lady?!

I didn't use either for ds (born May)(5yrs ago!) - I made a warm fleece footmuff - although he was only in it for the worst of the weather as we put him in a warm snowsuit.

What I would recommend is a shadeababe though - sun screen - and much more extensive and less fiddly than a parasol type thing.

the mountain buggy zipped sunshades are fantastic, i use mine all the time as you can zip the front up so they can still see but you have top and sides shaded.
i have had many mountain buggies, the alvi footmuffs are good i had the small ones in carrycots, they are a perfect size. the big ones are good as well but you cant zip the top off and use as a liner. the nomad ones are great as well and there is someone selling them new for £27 on e-bay. also winstanlys pram world have genuine MB ones cheap from £20. i use felhof full lambskin footmuffs. they can be used as lambskin liners in the summer. if you are lucky you might get one cheap on e-bay, mine varied in prices i have four at the moment for my two doubles i did get one for £15 new and one for £30. the other two i paid alot more for new this winter from e-bay.
i would get a footmuff that zipps off so you can protect your seat even in the summer. its much easier to take a liner off and was than the whole buggy seat.
