BAby jogger city mini, carrying two bambinos?

So I've been convinced that I need a phil and ted's this summer especially for camping, long distance trips in case my over grown toddler gets tired of walking.

But I just thought, this is so cheating I know.
But he car seat adapter for the city mini (a pram which I love and was amazing for DS)

I'm thinking the car seat can go on the pram for my newborn so he's facing me like I want him to, then there seems to be a gap underneath for bigger DS's legs to poke out if he was so exhausted he need to nap at some point in our travels and he could still lay kinda hidden when the main seat flattened while younger DS is on top in car seat??
Am I being silly?
It seems to be a similar set up to how you can have bigger child sleep on main seat on phil and teds while baby is it the attatchment seat on top.
I wouldnt be doing this reguarily, just for when he's very tired when we go to france this sumemer and hike and such.
What do you all think?

Oh seriously I had my 2 yo in that buggy last year AND a ton on camping equiptment including a 12 man tipi weighing on it walking miles, I had all my shopping on it constantly too.
It's one of the strongest prams I've had.
I'm not worried about DS and a light newborn.

hell yes i'm not carrying that fat lump on my back! :-D i'll be tired myself, i may resort to older DS having the pram when he needs it, and carrying baby in sling though :-)
Even babies get heavy after you've been walking a while though..

I recommend a wrap sling. Way comfier than a framed carrier, and can be used for baby or toddler. Light and easy to carry when not in use. Try a Didymos or storchenwiege! Will have a good resale value too.

How old is your older DC? What about one of these?

I agree the City Mini is a tough pushchair, I have had my 5 yr old DS sitting on the footrest while my 2 yr old DD was in the seat with her legs crossed. It was more difficult to steer that way because all the weight was over the front wheel and it wasn't particularly restful for DS because he had to lift legs up.
