Just a quick question to Mutsy Urban Rider owners - what do you do about the really shallow basket?
Is there some sort of solution to make it a bit more useful?

Thanks

Hi think the basket has to be the worst thing about the mutsy , there is now a bigger basket that can be bought (though hard to find) which hooks onto the back of the seat and hangs above the small tray/basket .
you can also take it off and use it like a shopping basket as has a handle
like this here 4th picture
not my listing and not sure where to buy them from but they do come up on ebay occasionally.maybe someone else will know where to get them from
as for the basket not really much help but i just got a small bag and tied it on then chucked everything in the bag lol.
enjoy your mutsy i think its a fab pushchair and i have had a few

Thanks so much adsz that hook on basket looks like the perfect solution.
Will need to try to source one I think!
I am enjoying the mutsy so far - still getting to grips with the steering

Hi again ,
no problem glad to help
just done a google search and came across this mutsy basket
never bought from the shop so cant reccomend them but its the first place i have found that have them and are in stock.
(might get one myself when i get paid)
why does the mutsy stuff have to be so hard to get in the uk though it is nice as you dont see one everytime you go out with it, though can be a pain when you keep getting stopped to ask about it if your in a rush
the steering is quite strange to start with but you soon get the hang of it though you can get small swivel wheels for the front which a lot of people seem to use in shops.
any way hope it helps ,enjoy your mutsy

Thanks again - think I need to order one of those baskets. I also think I need the step-up board as my existing kiddyboard doesn't seem to work brilliantly since it can't attach to the middle of the axis.
Don't suppose you've tried the board before I shell out for one?

hi again, i agree i think the basket is definately the way to go
as for the board i havent tried the official one , had a kiddyboard but like you say it doesnt fit the best as you cant attatch it in the middle (the do make a great skateboard when going downhill though lol)
i would think the official one would be great as its specifically made to fit the chassis.

just a thought maybe you could pick one up secondhand or on ebay as seem to be a few on there, then if you dont get on with it you could sell it on again and you should be able to make most of the cost back.
sorry not much help with the board.

Well I accidentally (lol) ordered both the basket and the board earlier from the website you linked to - great prices!

I did some research and it seems that lots of people think the mutsy board is fab - bugaboo owners buy them as they fit bugs better than their own board supposedly.

Hope they arrive quickly - if they're the same build quality as the pram, they'll be very well made - hope they all work well together

Thanks again for the advice!
