Hi,
I've been looking at the icandy apple for our new arrival. Does anybody know what they are like and roughly how much they cost?

Also how small do they fold as i have a Grande Punto and it has got to fit in the boot.

Thanks
Nicola

I utterly loved mine. It's very light to push considering it isn't the lightest of pushchairs itself. The seat unit is lovely and snug. What I really loved was the height of the seat etc. I remember going to pick up a huge rocking horse for DD who was still little enough for the infant seat (I was thinking ahead!). With the car seat on the chassis there was bags of height underneath for a huge load of shopping and the rocking horse was easily transported!

I had an old style Focus hatchback at the time and there was bags of room for other junk.

For mine at the end of 2007 I paid £499 for the chassis, seat unit and carrycot. I do0n't think it's changed massively since then but I might be wrong.

Thanks so much. We are going to go and see the pram in a couple of weeks. I have phoned the store that stocks them and they have given me a rough price. I know they are a little more expensive then other prams but i suppose it's cheaper than changing my car!

Thanks
Nicola

Do ring round the stores though to get the best price - the store nearest me quoted nearly six hundred quid for the chassis which comes with the buggy bit and the carrycot and the maxi-cosi car seat adaptors... I rang another store and they said £479! So I went there!

It's a brilliant pram - turns on a sixpence and having the flexibility to click the car seat or carrycot on is fab. I really am delighted with it so far. The chassis seemed much lighter to me than the bugaboo or mothercare ones. Like RockBird I've had no probs at all getting it in the boot of my Focus and there's space for shopping too. We've brought a more lightweight McLaren XT for when our daughter is old enough for a buggy though.

The Apple takes a MaxiCosi Cabriofix car seat (you need adaptors which the pram shop should be able to get for you), we got our seat from Boots during a double points event and I used the resulting points for nice Estee Lauder bits and pieces!!!
