yes but you DO live in a warmer place!! We had very very frosty grass this morning and DH had to scrape the car, despite it being bright sunshine! I'll go out in any weather anyway, not afraid of it

ooh no get out in it hear hear!! The one thing I liked about the last school I worked at was that the kids always played out, the weather had to be very very very bad for them to not go out.

It is a state of mind

DS has the gap pjs on tonight btw

Olivia's nursery started a new thing on mondays where they spend the session down blue bell woods which is about a fast 45min walk for us and back. They get to explore climb trees bonfires hot choc and biccies but it has been put on hold because some parents not happy about them out in this weather. The are in the woods and in shelter to some degree and i feel if dressed well what is the problem. Granted i do get some funny looks when we walk home as she has been named the mud queen. Rolls in it i think and loves the fact she waters a tree iykwm

fgs basl whats up with these parents!! i do wish people would dress their kids properly tho. Every week at swimming a group of ladies come into cafe whilst im there with tate after they've done their buggyfit in the park. they take their babies with them and work out. But this lady brings her little girl in screaming place down she must be about 18m old asking her 'whats wrong baby?' she's got no hat or gloves on her hands and face are red raw cold!!

Morning!

Speech therapy again today

Oh Nicola I know what you mean about being dressed. (children) the other week one day it was freezing, and saw some little babies (under 6 months) with not even a blanket on them, just trendy little clothes, no coat just a tracksuit top etc.......poor little mite. Bearing in mind I am always hot too so not soft when it comes to warmth!

What's everyone else up to today?

Morning all

Got HV coming today then have to take my dad to day surgery in Bristol but we just wait for them to ring. My mum is stressing about it and that you can't park anywhere so I've said I will just have to drop him off. It's in the city centre, impossible to park and up a very steep hill yet she wants me to park (would have to be miles away) then walk with dc's so she know's my dad has got there safe. He's not 10!!

Then have the whole thing in reverse when they ring to say come to get him.

We are out all weathers too, I do worry about dd so we don't have such long walks, dc snug in pram, I don't mind getting wet but if dd gets wet and miserable I do feel bad. Walking to playgroup is about half an hour so wellies, waterproofs and lots of puddle splashing!!
