Pro's and Con's....What do you think? iCandy vs Phil and Ted's

We have one baby on the way, but are planning to have a second at some point (this could change after the first one!)

Well, we were all set on getting a Phil and Ted's but I did have some reservations. Went to a shop yesterday and saw the iCandy Peach and now would like some advice....

Which would you choose and why? Any pro's and cons you have about either, be completely honest!

Thank you.x

i have an icandy pear, my main reason for choosing it was reclining seats for both children, and parent facing!

(oh and more selfishly i still have one huge shopping basket to fill)

What's the difference between a peach and a pear?

peach has a smaller pip frame, and a lighter main frame, and i think the hoods have adjustable height.

Pear cant be parent facing in single and double.

Peach you can have carseat facing you toddler forward facing which the pear cannot do, BUT thats the only way you can have a child face you in double iyswim! and the only way you can attach a carseat in double mode.

Pear faces you or away, And both seats can recline no matter what combination of seat carseat or carrycot you can use!

Where as the peach can only recline when two seats are used, Also the smallest peach seat doesnt have adjustable leg support!

Pear has air fill tyres, the peach doesnt.

i think thats everything!

They both have pros and cons but i wanted parent facing in double so that was the winner for me!

i had a phil and teds, and LOVED it for 2 kids, but i wouldnt buy it for one,i would buy a nice pram, with a parent facing seat unit, and buy a phil and teds when you have your second,
the icandy is lovely if you walk everywhere,my friend had the pear but sold it after 2 months as she HATED it,very heavy, and a PITA to put in and out of the car,
i think the pear/peach would be lovely for twins,

the apple is very heavy so the pear must be a nightmare!

heavy buggy to lift yes, but compared to our twin techno and a friends mountain buggy, light as a feather to push, get up kerbs etc, imo you get what you pay for with the pear!

maybe i love it a bit much!
