Icandy Raspberry vs Oyster Max

Help!! New parents to be and we're slightly overwhelmed by the different buggies/pushchairs out there! After trying quite a few out recently, we've narrowed it down between the Icandy Raspberry and the Oyster Max and I was just after any advice or reviews from anyone that has either of them please! We like the idea of not having to have a separate carrycot, and have been told that we can use both of these from day one as they both go flat. Thanks!

I didnt have the oyster max, but i did have the original oyster.

It was a horrible pram!! It was great with the carrycot, but once the seat unit was on the pram dd hated it. No matter how tight the straps were , she used to constantly slip down the seat. The seat also didnt sit upright fully which i think was causing her to slip down.

I was very glad to sell it when dd was 12 months

The oyster max and oyster 2 have different seats and seem to have solved the slumping problems. What is it in particular about these two, apart from suitable from birth lie flat seat (which plenty of other pushchairs have) they are quite different pushchairs?

Thank you both! We liked how compact they became, how easy they were to push around (as silly as we felt pushing them around empty in John Lewis!). They were both easy to fold up. They both had the option of facing forwards or back. The carseat was also easy to get in and out. Would you have another one you recommend?

The oyster max is loads bigger than the raspberry, being a tandem pushchair, that's what confused me. Do you mean the oyster 2?

A list of similar ish things with suitable from birth seats could include:

Bugaboo bee, joie chrome, graco evo and evo xt, m&p armadillo flip (and several other m&p pushchairs have the lie flat seat), maxi cosi loola 2, ohhhhh and my current object of desire - the easywalker mosey.

There are more, I just can't think of them right now for some reason. Smile

I looked at the icandys, and what put me off is that its a bucket seat. Theres not much leg room on them as the child gets bigger. When the seat is laid back, the feet go in the air too!

If i was to have another baby, i think i would look at the bugaboos

Yes, the Oyster 2. Sorry (I've seen too many today - very confused!)

Thank you for that, I'll look into those!

I was playing with the raspberry with my OH in john lewis at the weekend and I really like it! It's really sleek and easy to fold. I've got a peach3 now which I love, just need to convince the OH that we need a stroller for walking around town ;-)
