City mini gt vs bugaboo cameleon 2

My ds is 2 and i recently bought a new city mini gt. I love it! But just found out i am pregnant. I am considering selling and buying a second hand cameleon. Because:
1- i would rather new baby in a carry cot
2- parent facing option for first year
3- it of course looks fab! Haha

I can currently sell my city mini and buy the bugaboo including carseat and adaptors and actually make £30 ha ha. However, my problem is my ds will still be using pushchair until new baby arrives next march.. And he is already 35" tall and weighs 33lbs so is close to the capacity of the bugaboo...

Any recommendations? I am trying to pursuade OH to let me keep gt and buy the bugaboo bit he thinks we only need one!!

Well you can get the new deluxe carrycot for the gt.. Won't help with parent facing after that but that's the carrycot bit covered.

I like both aesthetically so wouldn't change for that in this case :-D The Cam is massively better with a buggyboard when the seat is on imo, I had a gt with a glider board last year and I didn't find it that comfortable. If that's something you're likely to do then it's a consideration perhaps.

Fwiw I would keep the gt until nearer the time, it probably won't be fun pushing your toddler in a cam, it'd be fine, just not as good as a gt.

Ihateparties, thanks for your input, yeah I will be using a glider board so I will definitely keep that in mind... I wish oh would just let me keep both ha ha!

I reckon you could easily keep the gt until the baby is looking like outgrowing the carrycot then re assess. The glider board drove me nuts, it's a nice board but you can't just clip it off to fold, you're supposed to take the wheels off then fold it within the buggy. Pah. There goes my flat fold then.
