Is there an age/weight limit on using car seat on pushchair?

Need to head out in a, friends car straight from school run with 1yo DD, she's well within limits if Cabriofix so was going to clip it into BJCM and walk over but wasn't sure if it was safe now she's bigger?

I've only done this twice before but she was much smaller.

If she's in the weight limit if the car seat I would expect it to be safe

The only info I actually know on this is for the mb duet, where you can use the car seat up to 9kg. For other pushchairs I would assume 13kg as per the car seat unless the manual for the pushchair tells you otherwise.

I have a P&T smart and it says only to use with carseat up to 9kg

You might be able to put your DD in the pushchair and hang the infant carrier on the back of the pram. If you push the carry handle of the Cabriofix back slightly towards the rear of the seat (but don't fully click it into the backwards position) it should hang fine.

We did this a couple of weeks ago when we got a taxi to the train station and then caught the train. I have a Britax Cosy Tot (old version of their BabySafe infant carrier), so it couldn't be used as a 'travel system' on my BJCM, but it was very easy to transport the infant carrier by hanging it on the back of the pram. DD2 will be 2 in less than a month's time, but is very petite, so luckily we still have the infant carrier option for taxis and other people's cars!

I would imagine that once the baby gets quite heavy a pram (especially a 3-wheeler) could get a bit 'tippy', especially if the car seat is quite high off the ground when it's placed on the pram.
