Bugaboo with buggy board?

DS will be just turned 3 when DC2 arrives. I don't want to get a double - happy to use sling for baby if DS needs pram occasionally. He's quite slow walking though so need something buggy board compatible.

I love the Bugaboo Buffalo, however I'm fairly tall so would need something with a long handle to avoid kicking the board when walking. Does anyone know if this would be suitable? I also love the Peach 2 but I know they don't recommend buggy boards on Icandy.

Anything else I should be looking at? I want parent facing and a big shopping basket, they are the most important features. Not too wide as I use for shopping, unlikely to need folding much as I don't currently have a car.

We have a small gap ( 16 months) and have got on great with the bugaboo cameleon and board. The handle is tall enough for dh at 6'4.

However I'm not sure how good it would be for regular use With a 3 year old. Our eldest is now 3 1/2 and when we used occasionally a few months ago during the rain it really did feel heavy. ( but that was with an 18 month-2 year old in seat).
However eldest does still seem to fit in seat fine ( when playing around in house in it)

How long until your ds is 3? I would def say a board of some sort rather than double though as ds now at 3 1/2 isn't keen on board and tbh needs the excercise of walking and running about ( I think that's how he still naps in day)

I'm only in early stages of pregnancy at the moment so still have a while to go. I don't want to use a board all the time, just for if we are in a hurry to get somewhere on time (I'm a SAHM but DS will start preschool so can't have him dawdling there, missing busses etc). Thankyou for your help :)

I have a bugaboo frog I used with buggy board.

Had ds3 when ds2 was two yes four mths, just used sling and then bugaboo and board.

Then had ds4 when ds3 was just three again sling and buggy board and then again when I had dd, ds4 was two yes nine mths.

Have has my bugaboo ten years and its been a real workhorse so if the buffalo is the same quality I would say its a good buy. It looks lovely.

Oh and agree, our bugaboo looks like new still after 3 1/2 years. And we use every day on buses, in parks, and on planes when needed. Def a good buy, il be sad when ds2 doesn't use any more
