If money was no object what double buggy (for a newborn and an 18month old) would you buy and why?

Hello!

We've noticed this thread is quite old and some of the product recommendations are a little out of date. We've spent weeks speaking to parents and testing out double buggies. Read our double buggy reviews for a list of the best products on the market, including the best double buggy for toddler and newborn.

Hope this helps! Flowers

I thought this was going to be a design your perfect buggy type question!

For my life, which has a surprising number of narrow spaces, a lot of miles per week and no car, either a tfk joggster twist with multi x carrycot and buddyseat or an icandy peach blossom 2.

If I had more space in my house and local area then a stroll air my duo.

Ooh, how great would it be to design your perfect buggy!

Thanks for your reply, parties.

I'd have a Peach Blossom 2 or a Bugaboo Donkey - have read lots of good things about both and also like the way they look! Not planning a close enough age gap to try either out though...

We have really liked our Easy Walker duo. It is bulky but we used it most for long walks and the DC were very comfy in it. Easy to steer and not heavy to push. Always got it through doorways but to be fair I was never shopping much with it (for a quick potter round the shops DD1 would walk and DD2 would be in the single.)
Fitted easily into the boot of our V70 but similarly we got it into my DMs Golf.
Had a pram part when DD2 was tiny and we could put our Maxi Cosi onto it too. Seats recline very flat for napping.
Perfect for us!

If you want a tandem then with your age gap, the iCandy Peach Blossom 2, with the Apple 2 Pear or Oyster Max as the next choices - really depending on if your eldest naps or not.

If you want a side by side, then you wont do much better than a Bugaboo Donkey - but only if you have room to fold and store it in Duo mode. Otherwise the StrollAir My Duo would be a better choice for ease of folding etc., Theres some lovely forward facing side by sides - the BJCMGT, the narrow Nipper, the Bumbleride Indie Twin, TFK Twinner Twist Du0.

We love our mountain buggy duo. Narrow enough to fit through any door, great to push and so far has been indestructible! I have 3dc, with 24 months between the first two and 23 months between 2 and 3, and they often all pile on no problem. It even copes well with our rather earthquake damaged pavements (many, many holes...). I had the carrycot on when my youngest was a baby, so could have him facing me.

Oops, meant mountain buggy duet, not duo!
