If you don't want it to parent face then the mamas and papas sync sounds about right and is genuinely compact. I don't know how good they are, I've always vaguely fancied one because of paper it seems right up my street but hear a lot of bad things about mamas and papas reliability and customer service. Hmmm.

You could get a baby jogger city mini gt but it's not compact when open. A britax b motion is slightly more so neither are super light compared to a basic stroller sort of thing though.

Does any of that look vaguely right?

The sync looks possible. We had a BJCM (non gt) which DH found hard to steer ages ago though I liked it. Not sure on the mutsy.

DH likes the look of the luna mix and the micralites. I quite like the babyzen yoyo which stretches the budget rather a lot. The nuna pepp keeps floating into view but I worry about it being too flimsy for everyday.

I don't think the yoyo would work everyday tbh.

The nuna pepp is a good thought though, they're supposed to be good, I see a couple that are obviously used daily round here. I wonder sometimes about the ground clearance.

The gt is different to push to the ordinary bjcm, much nicer imo. They're excellent, I found it too big and too wide but that's me specific. Am v.tempted by the b motion as I had a b agile and really liked it, it didn't feel as big to me.

I tried an icoo primo, either I got a dodgy one or they quality is really disppointing. The chassis creaked and the wheels didn't spin freely. Kind of a shame because on paper it was ideal for me and the handle went really high too.

Ah ok. Is the Yoyo not sturdy enough then? I saw a bjcm-gt at the local animal park today. It might well be a contender as the handlebar is adjustable isn't it? Don't know much about Britax.

We're going to Kiddicare at Lakeside at the weekend so I hope there is something there which fits the bill.

Now all I need to do is sell the Bastard Select to finance it

2nd hand bugaboo bee sounds like your best bet!

TBH this is one occasion where the NJoy Bubble might work well. Its cool because its got two seat harnesses - so one can be set up for the eldest and one for the youngest. Then you literally flip the seat between the two. The only thing it fails on is the single handlebar, but I can forgive it that. Otherwise the Bee is probably the best bet but it would have to be second hand. Or like you say a BJCMGT.
The Nuna Pepp is sturdy for everyday use. But the harness is a PITA to use and the basket is weeny.

Hmm. Having looked at the website, the NJoy Bubble might work really well, it might be very practical with the two harnesses, it might be all that I could ask in terms of size/weight but its ugly as sin and thats a big fat fail for me .

Is the Bee that great? It looks fussy to fold and not that small.

I think I'm heading towards the bjcmgt or the pepp, unless something else catches my eye at the weekend.

The bee is smaller than the gt, the gt is great but really really, don't expect it to be small, look at these pics.

The bee imo is one of a kind in that it's the narrowest single handled 1 piece fold parent facer, the fold is a bit of a faff though and it's neat folded in terms of shape but chunky. Fine if you're expecting those things. There are easier flatter folds but on bigger pushchairs with less features/options - ie city minis and the like.

If you fancy a micralite though and have two kids at least have a browse online at the twofold

Well, thanks to IHateParties we appear to have blown the budget out of the water, along with half my criteria, and are waiting for Kiddicare to let us know when the Twofold will arrive.

So far, so good. DS thinks the buggy board is brilliant but he won't entertain the second seat at all. I can see that going back. Lots of fun playing with it this afternoon.

Ooohhhh I am glad you got one :)
I have one too!! I havent tried the second seat yet but its on my list of things to do. My eldest LOVES the board and so do I! I dont fall over it, or have to hunch over like I do with a stroller board! Best of all the board is so simple to flick in and out, and in and out and in and out! I could play that all day! The pushchair is so simple to fold too :)

DS1 is demanding to ride everywhere . Up and down he gets, like a jack-in-the-box. I bet the mechanism to extend the chassis is what took so long to get right.

I wish the hood was better in front though. I'm used to a babyjogger size.

I believe that the delay was because the Twofold, was the first pushchair to go through the new safety testing.
