What do you find naff about the oyster seat? Just wondering as I think I'm falling out of love with my oyster.

Tiggy you were also right about the BJCM, bought one to use on holiday, got home and don't want to go back to my Oyster

The oyster seat doesn't lie fully flat nor go fully upright, that's my issue with it.

Yep, that's it IHateParties. It's neither one or the other although the laying back doesn't bother me so much.

The biggest problem is that DDs bottom continually slips forward and I'm always adjusting her position (she's 9mo). I'm going to put a sheepskin on it to see if that helps.

DH will not allow yet another new purchase Hmm

Ahh yes. I was having the problem with the slipping but thought that was because my DD is only six months. I've only had it on the most upright position a couple of times so far but agree with it not being very upright

I totally agree. I'm not a fan of my oyster anymore, can't understand why it's a which? best buy. Mine is going up for sale tomorrow, just hope and pray someone out there wants it, as I keep hearing bad news about it.
Baby jogger versa arrived yesterday.... such a difference.

LOL thanks!
The Oyster seat isn't that bad. But there's better out there. The Oyster Max seat is much better with an extra seating position including upright and lie flat.
The BJCM is fab too - now try a BJCMGT Wink

Do you think it'd improve with a better seat insert?

And any tiggywisdom on a buggy that folds very small for behind the rear seats of an s-max? Not 3 wheels or umbrella fold. Not Zia.

Thank you :)

I dont know what an S-Max boot is like. But the slimmest pushchairs are usually the Baby Joggers if flat would work?

The oyster chassis fits without the wheels on. I'll have a look at prices / dimensions for the baby jogger, thank you :) another to add to my list of wants needs.
