Can someone recommend me a small 'car' buggy please?

Hi I already have a large parent facing pushchair but I have to take the seat unit off to fit in the car, plus it takes up my whole boot.

I was wondering if somebody could recommend e a small, lightweight buggy type that I can keep in the boot for shopping etc.

I dont want to spend a lot with it being a second pram but I still want good quality as my dd is only 12 months.

Thanks for reading Smile

Quinny Zapp I think still folds down smaller than anything else on the market (we bought one a few years back for DD1 on that basis). There are quite a few around second hand to keep the cost down.

Petite star zia much like the Quinny but lays back unlike the Quinny. The cosatto lite range are also good! Grin

Nuna Pepp? You might need to look at second hand depending on your budget, but it folds down really small and gets lots of good reviews from people on here. It also reclines flat if your DD needs to nap in it.

I had a Quinny and hated it and swapped it for a petite star sis which is much better and reclines, it fits in my galaxy boot with all the seats up.

This pushchair folds very small and is a dream to push. I got it in xmas sale for £80 at Mothercare.

Thanks everyone for suggestions. I still need one that reclines so will take a look at zia, pepp and the mothercare one Smile

another vote for the zia however I only ever use mine if we go away and need to fill the boot with stuff, I'd far rather take my bugaboo cameleon everywhere with me and put it up and down than push anything else (DD2 is 10 months, used the cameleon with DD1 til she was almost 3 when i had DD2)

I'm watching this with interest.

My DD is 9mo and growing out of Maxi Cosi quickly, so it won't be long before I'm not using it and won't be putting it on the chassis.

I have a Silver Cross stroller but the brake is knackered that's what I've told DH anyway so will need, yes DH need a car buggy.

I really don't like the look of the Zia and others similar, and certainly the reviews about it tipping are concerning.

I could carry on putting the Oyster in the car but I'm too lazy. And this is my last DC so I need to cram in as many buggy purchases while I still can :)

I had a zia for a few weeks and I've just sold it on, it just felt so flimsy to me and DD never fell asleep in it. I think it's the curse of having a really high spec main pushchair (we have an uppababy), you get too used to them! We still need a holiday buggy and I think I'm going to try and find a second hand BJCM

I have a Maclaren XT for the car. Nice big wheels and can recline flat.
