Mini Cooper + pushchairs

Hi there,

We're expecting our first baby in August, but as I drive a Mini Cooper we're very limited with our pushchair choice due to the lack of boot space.

Does anyone know if the Petite Star Zia Evolve Travel System fits in the boot of a Mini when folded?

Or know of any pushchairs that do fit?!

Thank you!

A bugaboo bee does. Without having to take off any parts.

A bugaboo bee folds very small and is a lovely pushchair. What kind of budget do you have?

Not from birth though Sad the Casualplay Livi lies flat though so might be (or might not be, probably not officially because of the new testing methods)

Hmmm. I suspect the zia evolve would though as you say.

I think more pushchairs will fit than you think. I know an Easywalker June fits and even a double TFK Twinner Twist Duo fits. So I would be trying lots of things out in a shop to see what fits. I am certain the Zia Evolve will fit. I bet a Versa would fit, and the new Easywalker Mini will fit. Try a Graco Evo. A Britax Affinity, The Bee. I know an iCandy Peach Jogger fits in. TBH I think you need a good play in an independent pram shop!

Thank you for all your help. We're now looking at the iCandy Peach after researching all of the above, which is about three times our original budget but seems to tick all our boxes - typical!

As well as fitting in the mini our priorities include lie flat (we've been told the Bugaboo Bee market as lie flat with the cocoon, but even with that still has a 10% incline), adjustable handlebars (6ft 3in husband), parent and forward facing, and car seat adaptable. I didn't realise how many options would be out there but how few of them meet our criteria!

Thanks again for the advice.

Great choice! Just check the Peach fits (I would like to know if it does). I know the Peach Jogger definitely does. They fold slightly differently.

How does the 6'3" husband get in the Mini? Mine couldn't and he's an inch shorter.

I changed cars, not husband.

iCandy Peach 1 ordered yesterday! Thanks to the advice on here, we finally found a pushchair to meet all our criteria.

Managed to find an independent shop that still had a few Peach 1 in stock so we didn't have to pay the Peach 2 upgraded price. Fits in the mini no problem - all wheels can stay on if the parcel shelf is removed, or if we want to keep the parcel shelf in just have to take off one back wheel (which is one button to press).

Thank you for all your help.
