New nipper 360, mountain buggy duet or city select?

Can people please help me to pick between these buggies. By the time my next baby is due my daughter will only be 18 months old. I had an old style nipper 360 for my oldest two . I love everything about it apart from the width, I can't get it through my front door without taking wheels off etc.
I live in the country and do a lot of walking. Weight getting in and out of cars doesn't bother me too much as mostly use a maclaren and sling for this so this will mostly be used kept up in my kitchen and just pushed out the door.
On paper the mountain buggy duet looks perfect but I'm reading so many reviews that say the width is the only good thing about it which is starting to put me off a bit! I love all the different combos with the city select and the fact it can become a single again once a double isn't needed but am not sure about the weight once I have a toddler in the front so now the new nipper 360 is back in the running as I hear it's narrower. They have a 2013 model out in July so not sure if that will be smaller again?
Any advice would be great x

I doubt it will be smaller again, in fact I heard that it will be pretty much the same structurally as the v2. There will be carrycots though and again although some people have been told purely for the v3 there is also the suggestion that they will retro-fit, so the v2 at least. I have had a duet and a single nipper, I think I would go for the nipper over the duet. Especially as there will now be carrycots. I wouldn't get a select but that's just me, I don't want the seating options enough to put up with pushing it

I think the Nipper would win for me especially now with the carrycots. However, I would also want to check out the harness length too as they were MASSIVE - unsafely massive. I am hoping they are now shorter but I haven't seen a Nipper to check.

Thank you for the replies. Can anyone explain what is wrong with the duet. On paper it seems my perfect buggy, as in, similar to my nipper but nearly 10 cm narrower. Only thing is I can't find anyone that has used it for more than a few weeks and actually like it?!

I had the nipper and loved it, 18 mths apart like yours. Perfect for newborn and toddler, really easy to manoeuvre and very light.

I already have the old nipper and as I said, I love everything about it too, aside from the width as I can't get it in my back garden or house. That's why mb seemed a better option but maybe not? I wish buggies weren't so complicated!

The Duet - its MASSIVE folded plus you also need about a metre and a half of floor space to fold and unfold it on. Its awkward to lift because its so long. The handle bar is really low. The children are too close and can poke / prod / pull hair / kick / generally annoy each other. The balance isn't good so that it can pull badly to the side that the eldest is on. The new seats have foam which slides down the back and is generally annoying. The seats when they are sat back after a recline ends up surrounding the child's head with fabric. If you tuck it behind the seat out of the way, then you can't recline the seat again easily!
The advantage is the width, and if you want a side by side rather than a tandem then it could be an option. I think it works better with twins rather than children of different ages. At least twins are at the same stage at the same time. If you want a side by side and width isnt an issue then theres tons of better side by sides out there including the Baby Jogger City Mini GT, Bumbleride Indie Twin, TFK Twinner Twist Duo and more...

I can't honestly explain it, I expected to LOVE the Duet but just wasn't feeling it. Yes it's sturdy but it wasn't as cushy to push as I had been expecting for the air tyres etc. It looks massive too, although its obviously narrow it doesn't look it and it's really quite long when you get down to it. I'm more of a tandem person though as I said, so maybe a bit biased. I had no particular problem with it, mine didn't pull to the heavier child's side like Tiggy's did, the handle height was fine for me, basket big enough etc. The fold was an issue though, i doubt very much it would have fitted in my car and you need a good bit of storage space for it. I can't comment on the nipper in direct comparison though as I haven't had a double one.
