Rear facing - what are the (cheaper end) options?

Most of the time I am still using my BJCM double for DS1 and DS2 when out and about*, but when I've wanted a single option I have been using my M+P Switch from when DS1 was born. DS2 is nearly 6mo now, so won't want to go in the carrycot on the double much longer (and it's getting a bit of a tight squeeze anyway). I had been thinking I would use the Switch + buggyboard a bit more, so he could rear face sometimes... but something has gone a bit wrong with the folding mechanism. I might be able to get a replacement chassis for the Switch, although if I'm going to be spending money anyway, I wondered what the options were for getting something else rear facing that I could use with a buggy board? It doesn't need to be suitable from birth, though all the ones I've seen are, anyway. Thanks in advance!

I would look at a Mutsy Evo, Babystyle Oyster and a Baby Jogger Versa.

Maybe the new style my child pinto too? All of the above sound great to me too. It depends what you mean by cheaper end though... All of these mentioned are 2-300minimum, the versa is more (but worth it imo, which I don't usually say)

Thank-you, there are some lovely pushchairs there, and if I were buying my first one again, any of those look like they would be well worth considering. However, I don't think I can justify spending that much money when I won't even be using it all the time (I'll still be using the double); I will probably just look out for a new chassis for the Switch.

What about looking for a second hand Sola? They go for fairly cheaply and work well with a board plus easy to push one handed when DC1 wants to walk.

You could probably pick up an Oyster quite cheap on eBay

DH has gone and worked out how to fix the Switch so I don't even have a good excuse to be buying pushchair parts now, never mind more pushchairs . Thanks for all your suggestions, and I will keep them in mind if I do get a chance for more pushchair buying!
