seeking narrowest double buggy available.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a buggy for a 6 month old and 2.5 yr old because I feel so over whelmed by choice and none of the websites consistently give dimensions.

Does anyone know what the smallest double buggy around is? I want it to be very low tech and small, because I get the bus a lot. Size is more important than other factors because the journeys are very short.

The other major problem is that I need to store it in a tiny cupboard which has a floor area of 69x90 cm so I think that double is our only option rather than tandem which all seem to be longer than 90cm. I could fold it I know, but if I can find one that I can store open life will be a lot easier.

The mountain buggy duet is the narrowest I have found but it is quite massive when folded. I was looking at boot space though, not cupboard space so it might be ok for you. Think the next best is the baby jogger city mini, unless you wanted a cheaper umbrella fold type like a cossatto, think they are all pretty standard width wise. I am sure someone with better knowledge will be along soon. My knowledge is from looking for one myself rather than using one

Hmm...I would think the shortest tandem is either the iCandy Pear or the Mountain Buggy +One. But I think both have issues for your age gap. Otherwise I would suggest the Uppababy Vista with a rumble seat - it takes seconds to remove the rumble seat and fix back again. However it depends on your toddler not napping.
Otherwise the BJCM is probably the smallest folding side by side unless you get an umbrella fold - but you may struggle with your 2 year old on board. The BJCM wont fit in your space open though.

in case anyone is looking like me, I thought I'd quickly let you know the outcome. I looked at all the suggestions above and lots of others online, and the smallest double buggy I could find is the Maclaren twin triumph. It's the narrowest and shortest one available at H105 x W74 x D61cm It's also comfortably high enough for a tall person at 111cm.

We measured the Micralite Twofold at 103cms this weekend :D or a few cms more if you have both seats on.

Thanks for updating op, that's really useful and I think I will probably buy one based on your thread! I had always thought the maclarens were really wide for some reason Confused
