I love my oyster, it's nice to push and not too heavy.

You can't go far wrong with an Oyster. I also like the iCandy Cherry which would probably fit in your boot. There's also the Mee-Go Pramette which would be worth a look too.

Just bought Oyster max tandem, certainly seems one of best options or me! Shop around a bit though as there are some good deals out there

Thanks for all replies in sticking with getting the oyster only problem now is which car seat as I know a few fit which seat do any of u have. Haven't found a great deal yet as ever place seems to have a different package but I got a few weeks yet before I find out sex of the baby so plenty of time to look

Love our Oyster - light, fits in small car and DS super comfy.

We have the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix car seat which works with it.

i love my oyster. we have the britax car seat which is great and doesn't require adapters which all the others do - including the actual oyster cat seat! bizarre.

The pram centre we went to said they stopped selling the oyster carseat as they felt it was such poor quality...strange as they said the pram was great!

Does anybody know if the carrycot is certified for overnight sleeping? I like the Vista for that feature but this pushchair is more likely to fit easily in our boot.

Dd slept in hers when we were on hols and away. It was great!

IJust I think I read that it isn't suitable, but I just bought a breathable mattress to fit. I don't know if that made it ok or not, but DD didn't sleep in it in the end. Might be something to look into though.

Ah ok, thank you. It's still on my list, don't think I can bear a fight to get a pushchair in the boot every day.

It's says on the babystyle website that the carrycot is fully ventilated and suitable for occasional overnight sleeping. I know how u feel with the fight to getting pushchair in boot I've had many days with my youngest pushchair the oyster looks so easy to put down and fits with no fuss in my very small zafira boot defiantly my choice after a lot of searching.

Love my Oyster. We have the adapters so I can pop our maxi cosi car seat on it.

Just wanted to add that i have a v small Polo (older shape so definitely quite small) and the Oyster fits in my boot easily.

We've bought the oyster too. DC1 due in a month so not had much use yet but I'm pleased with the choice!

We went to Kiddicare and they sold us the Britax car seat with adapters to go on it.

I also have a vw polo so again it was about the folding option.

We had an oyster for dd2, it was great. Used carrycot for occasional overnight s, and had maxicosi car seat.

The britax seat will click straight onto the chassis, you don't need adapters.......

Report
TallulahBetty · 24/03/2013 22:30

Agreed Snala, the Britax car seat doesn't need adaptors to go on the Oyster.

Report
me2013 · 24/03/2013 22:39

The new britax baby safe plus shr II needs adaptors it's only the britax babysafe that they are built into the seat.

Mine definitely needed adapters! Couldn't get it to fit without! But they did give me them for free.
