seems we will be looking at another phil & teds oncce dd2 is bit bigger - we sold our sport, so now wondering if any of the others are better? which have a better recline on the back seat? what are the new ones like?? is the vibe as good as the sport PLUS folding with rear seat in place... liked the look of the verve but their site says not suitable for all terrain, which not so good...

all thoughts greatly appreciated!

thank you :)

As you know from the other thread, I am waiting for the dot to be delivered. I am currently using a dash which I bought off eBay for just over £80 - it was a bargain because it was ending during the day rather than at night and the seller had stated that buyer to arrange their own courier. It was in brilliant condition and a lot newer than the sport that I sold a year before for £200 Shock. For some reason, the sport and e3 hold their price so much better than the Dash.

The dash has some good features so is worth taking a look. Also, if you're getting a secondhand one off ebay then look for local ones that aren't offering shipping as they'll go for less and also ones that end during the day as there'll be less bidders about to bid on it.

I got a sport for my friend for £70 before Christmas. It was local pick-up only and needed a new doubles seat fabric and basket but, with these replaced, it looks like new and cost £130 including the new bits.

I looked at the vibe but was put off for some reason...can't remember why

Sorry, this seems to have turned into rather a long post Grin

i have just been and sat my biggest 2 (4.5 adn 2.5) in the new dot and navigator and not sure but the second seat seems much lower and closer to the front seat (so less space) than the sport - has anyone else found this? I really liked the recline on them though, much better than the sport... now wondering about the vibe, but cant rmember what the problems with it were? what is the recline on the second seat really like??

I was looking at the dot today, a quietly measuring... I though the same re the lower seat positioning. It's different somehow. The lower seat back height is 49cm, which is better than it looked but because of the weird poppered on hood you don't get a decent height up to the hood if that makes sense. I still like it but seeing as they recommend the bigger child goes in the main seat it's a bit opposite way round to how i would want to use it. Ie bottom seat for toddler who is all walked out after a few miles and we're still not home.

Oh, I'm a bit worried now that it's not going to be as good as I'm hoping but still excited about getting a new buggy.

Can the rear hood be totally removed? I don't think I'll need it and would prefer not to use it. Also, I nearly always put the larger child in the back.

Yes, take it off. That's what i'd do, it would look a lot better. I'm sure they've always recommended smaller child in the back and people have resolutely done the opposite anyway Grin

my concern is there not being enough space in the back for the older child now if needed?
