Falling out with my Sliver Cross Pop Sport

My little girl who is nearly 2 seems to slip right down in this buggy and seems to be held in by the lower strap- it looks so uncomfortable but my main problem is that the brakes come on when you pull the buggy up steps! Surely both issues are a design fault? Any advice on trying to get this changed or money back? It's hard enough getting out the house with 2 under 2 without having a problem buggy!
Any advice on what buggy I should get instead would be fantastic- we need lightweight and one which we cam attach buggy board to later down the line. Thank you!

Get a baby jogger city mini. Light. Sturdy. Lovely big seat, my toddler sits nicely in his. You can add a play tray or bumper bar. Super fast easy fold, ideal for bus or train. A pleasure to use. Durable. Top quality. Look for offers at boots where you can collect points to spend in store.

I would say the silver cross pop sport is badly designed but not sure you'll be able to get a refund because of it though. Silver cross went into liquidation in 2002 and the company name was bought by another company. They are not the same old fashioned quality company our parents or grandparents shopped with. I am not impressed by the quality or design of the products sold by the "new" silvercross. :-(

i think they would argue that you shouldn't be pulling the buggy up steps any way to be honest.

as for the slipping down.... i don't know. they seem to do this in most buggies to be honest with you. I've had loads a few different buggies and it seems to be just one of those thigns

def agree with suggestion of baby jogger tho. we have the micro and love it!
