When we brought ours the woman in the shop said you can't fold it with the seat on but you can although it is very heavy to lift with the seat on when trying to put it in the boot of the carr, it is easier if the seat is facing forward rather outwards as is quite long then. Unfortunatly after four months we had to buy a second pram as the handle doesn't come up very high and(i'm not tall so would be worse for someone taller) and it makes it akward to push. I found this worse once we had the seat on rather the the pram. Also my Ds seemed to slump downwards in the seat as it is really shallow and he seemed uncomfortable because if this (it was like he was sitting on a dinning chair. it's great with the maxi cosi on but really wouldn't recommend with the seat unit at all.
