Doubting i'll get a response but has anyone any experience of a Grand Tour...I've never even seen one in real life...Loved the look of them ever since someone mentioned them in a web thread a long time ago before they were available in the UK...I'm thinking of selling my Frog and Super Dreamer to fund one.

I know that's my dilemma...I've recently given away a Britax Ultra system that was hard to push or at least it was after using a Frog...I used to push the Britax with 150 newspapers on it so i guess it's what you get used to.

Plus i've a Nuna and Bee Plus at my disposal if i wanted a lightweight pushchair to use...My pushchairs have specific uses...The Grand Tour would be my rainy weather pushchair as DD hates being behind raincovers...So i use Frog or Dreamer facing me, with hood pulled up, apron over bumper bar or apron that came with Dreamer and she's ok with this.

Have you seen the babyjogger city summit? Makes a fab bad weather pushchair (that's what I have!) - lovely suspension on all wheels, you can fit a bar or a tray - and get a parent console for the handlebar - really useful you can fit the pramometer(strollometer?) if you really want by buying it seperately at mothercare and fitting it yourself. As for headlights - see your bike shop! We have tyre sparx on our rear wheels (motion activated flashing lights).
It will still be cheaper than a maclaren grand tour and much easier to push no doubt! Grin
Once kiddicare had the grand tours for about £299 - might be worth keeping an eye on them incase they get them cheap again. Wink
