Decent buggy for in the boot? One that doesn't tip up like my quest.

Hi all,

I have a quest that lives in the car boot and tbh I'm just not feeling the love.

Ds feels v heavy in it, it doesn't fully recline and it tips up all the time.

Any suggestions?

How big is your boot? The Baby Jogger City Mini is superb. Very easy to push. My DS stopped using it when he was a very chunky 3.5yr old and it was still easy to push. It is a single handle though so you can't hang stuff on the handles in the usual fashion. It reclines beautifully though and there is a fantastic big hood and loads of room in it.

Second a BJCM. You could always buy hande hooks (I did). Fab shopping pram.

Hi 5in, how are you?

The nipper is fab btw.

Does a bjcm fold small enough for a little boot?

I used to get my bjcm in an old style nissan micra.... then I changed cars. I also hang shopping over the car seat adaptors at the sides!

Could you fit shopping in the micra boot with the pram in?

Glad nipper is doing the job Grin. I'm fine, typical half term horrors. You back at work next month?

BJCM folds really thin, especially if you take the wheels off, think nipper without footplate bit, it's that thin.

You should ask Basl if she is selling her blue and black one since she is back from her holiday Grin

I have a second hand M&P Pulse for in the boot. Small for an umbrella fold, but sturdy and fits tall (96cm) DS (2.2). Decent shopping basket too. Fits in Skoda Fabia boot easily.

Oooh thanks, I hadn't considered m&p.

It isn't like the Luna is it? I had one of those and despised it.

No, not at all like the Luna (friend also despises hers). Umbrella fold like a Maclaren, but feels sturdier (I also have a Quest that lives at my mother's).

another vote for bjcm. Just done a week away with ours. Lots of public transport used. Lots of bags hung on back really stable. I used velcro on hooks from amazon. Placed then at sides just by top of hood immediately below handle bar. Very discreet and useful. Pram was fab for travel. Fab on country tracks and around town. Really recommend this model to all now. Really comfy for baby and such nice quality for the money. Far better design and build than a Maclaren imo. If you get the snuggle bag you prob won't need the raincover. It's waterproof and i find it more convenient to leave this on than carry a large plastic cover incase. You can zip the top off and keep in basket if weather's warm.
