DS is 8 months today Sad
Anyway i sold the bugaboo cameleon as his head was sat on the hood, not fully but was touching it etc.
I got the Bee+ and just having pangs of guilt and missing my 'pram'

The two piece fold was annoying on school run also.
How long did you use the Cameleon? Is it me or do babys outgrow them fast?

Am I mad to be comsidering a Cameleon again?

My cameleon was still being used by ds1 when he was about 3 and a half! With dd on the wheeled board. Now being used by ds2 who is nearly 1. THey seem to fit fine. And ds1 is not little - slightly above average height and weight.

dd3 was in hers till age 2 and half. I didnt worry about her head being in the hood when it was down, but stopped using it when her head poked through the hood when up iyswim.

DD is 2.8 and still has plenty of room in ours. I don't put her in it anymore, she's on a buggy board and DS (14 months) is in the seat.

I've often seen children who look to be 3 or 4 sitting in them quite comfortably.

How big is your DS? He must be enormous, there's at least a 50cm rise on the seat back...

DO NOT buy another Cmelian, your showing the early signs of the potential to develop a pram addiction. I've never had a Bee, or even 'met' one, but I understand that they are very good buggies. Stick with it.

Your not missing 'your pram' your missing DS being a tiny, sweet smelling newborn Smile

my dd was still in hers at 3.9 years. She is just under 100cm, and her head did touch the hood when down, but not when the hood was up. You really wont find a better buggy than the cameleon.
And I hate to tell you this, but the length from seat to top of back rest is only half an inch longer on the bee plus than the cameleon.
Its all perspective I think - when they are tiny, there seems to be yards of room in everything, but they grow so fast in the first year, but dont fret, they slow down considerably so you will prob. find that you still have plenty of room this time next year.

no there is massive difference with how the hood sits on the bee+ i have that now and tried ds in cam today huge difference!

friend is lending me her cam so i can decide once and for all

BUT you are both right its him being tiny and in pram that i miss the most!

too late with regards to pram obsession i fear

oh hell, just have both, I would. The bee plus is an amazing buggy, but its just not quite as rolls royce as the cam. Suspension isnt quite as soft, basket not quite as large, seat isnt quite as snug with the footmuff. I really miss my cam Sad
